For a spa or swim-spa order, there are 3 types of delivery, depending on your site and needs. Drop-Ship, Placement, and Non-Standard Placement.
Drop-ship: The spa will be delivered to the front of your residence and you coordinate the placement to its final destination on your property. This is also known as a "curbside" delivery.
Upgraded Placement: Barefoot Spas will coordinate the placement of the spa where you want it at your residence for an additional charge. Eligibility to be determined based on proper access and geographic location.
Non-Standard Placement: Barefoot Spas will coordinate the placement of the spa, but your circumstances require special accommodations such as a forklift or crane service.
All orders (including orders for parts and accessories) may be shipped using a common shipping carrier if appropriate for the item, tracking information will be provided at the time of shipment.

Bad Customer Service
We bought our swim spa and had an electrician do all of the required wiring. However the spa would not turn on. The electrician checked everything possible and consulted with others. Contacted BarefootSpas on multiple occasions and they would not help us with it and continued to blame the electrician. We had to find our own independent hot tub technician to help us diagnose the problem as BarefootSpas would not assist us in anyway. The individual identified that the spa was missing a fuse that requires it to even work. The company (BarefootSpas) then accused us of removing the fuse and would not compensate us for the technician diagnosing the issues. Since then the spa has worked well, but two of the Headrest didn't last more then a year until they fell apart and the other two headrest fell apart after two years. Everything else seems to work, but am having to replace the cover as it lasted about 3 years from purchase and that was with an additional aftermarket sun protecting cover for it. I would not recommend this product due to poor customer service and other elements deteriorating faster then they should.

We bought our Barefoot Spa at a show at the VA fairgrounds in RVA in 2018. Was delivered and set up for us wonderfully. Had an electrician wire it up for us, and presto! - a wonderful hot tub that we use daily. We had Barefoot come out and do a yearly checkup on it each year. Under warranty, the controller pad malfunctioned. Barefoot came out and replaced it in 2 days and it has worked great ever since. It is so easy to take care of and use. We use it year round and daily. Easy to keep clean. It helps not having soap in your swimsuit. The cover finally fell apart in 2023, after 5 years of use, so we had to replace that. I would HIGHLY recommend these spas. Can fit 4 in it easily. (It says 6, but two have to be rather small.) You will not be disappointed.

I really enjoy my barefoot spa.
It was a big investment for me especially considering I paid cash for it, but it has been worth every penny. Owning this hot tub gives me something to look forward to every day on my way home from work. It is the most relaxing thing I do. I bought it back in 2017, and it is still running strong with no issues. Seems to be very well built and solid structure/mechanics. THis was the reason I spent a little more and got this one compared to some cheaper ones I found. I probably would not be writing a positive review at this point (4 years in) had I bought the cheapest one I could find!
